It’s October now, early Saturday morning, and the days are getting shorter, it’s rained a few times and the leaves are beginning to fall. This is the beginning of reading season for me. And some writing now as well. This is where I start. A place to put down my thoughts along with the photos I take. Im sure there will be very few people who read my upcoming ramblings but for me it will be an exercise in journaling and that is the point. And here is one of the very few photos that I’ve taken that I actually like.

It was taken just as Monique and I were getting off the ferry to Naxos in Greece a couple of years ago. For my fellow photographers it was taken with a Leica Q2.

And one closing thought: one of my best friends and I were texting this morning and I asked about a recent trip he was on and he said “I wish I had more time to take pictures” I replied back and said that this is what we will be saying at the end of our lives.
